Clean water and other basic needs are still not guaranteed in Newark.The Newark Water Coalition delivers immediate, life-saving support by providing clean water, food, and essential resources to families facing unsafe infrastructure and systemic neglect. To date, we’ve distributed 500,000+ gallons of clean water and 00+ water filters across our community.

Our mission is to establish self-sustaining ecosystems by providing water, food, and housing resources throughout the City of Newark, the state of New Jersey and beyond.
We work towards this goal by pouring into our community to activate and empower its members to provide for their own needs so they can begin to advocate for themselves. The Newark Water Coalition exists to serve the community and provide vital resources like food, water, clothes, books, and support.

Free In-Home Mobile Lead Testing Program for Homes in Newark
The Newark Water Coalition wants to help protect your family by offering FREE in-home lead testing for homes in Newark. Our team will test water quality, scan for lead paint, and collect dust wipe samples. Each participant will receive $50 for their time and a same-day report.
