Our intention is to cultivate a self-determined local, national, and international community of people who recognize the connection between systemic environmental racism and capitalism. NWC fights to liberate clean water as a source of life for all, particularly the oppressed and vulnerable.

Our Work
The Newark Water Coalition is one of the frontline organizations fighting for clean water in the city of Newark. The NWC has given out over 5,000 gallons of water and over 1,000 filters. The Newark Water Coalition has also shared our platform and resources with other organizations fighting for liberation and rights when it comes to housing, police brutality and climate change.
